Subcontractor Agreements

By scheduling a session with one of our spiritual directors, you acknowledge that our services are non-refundable and agree to these terms.

Resolution of Issues

In the unlikely event that you have an issue with the quality of your session, please contact us within 24 hours of the session and we will do our best to resolve the issue to your satisfaction.

Payment Terms and Conditions

This Payment Terms and Conditions document outlines the terms and conditions for payment of spiritual direction services provided by Spiritual.Chat ("Company").

  • Payment Method: The Company accepts payment through Paypal and Stripe. Payments must be made prior to the start of the spiritual direction session.
  • Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, you must do so at least 24 hours in advance. If a session is missed without prior notice, the payment for that session will be considered forfeit.
  • Free Spiritual Direction Sessions: The Company may offer free spiritual direction sessions from time to time, at the discretion of individual contractors/spiritual directors. The availability of free sessions is limited and subject to change without notice.
  • Refund Policy: Payments for spiritual direction services are non-refundable, except in the case of technical issues that prevent the session from taking place.
  • Chargeback Policy: The Company reserves the right to dispute any chargebacks that are made without a valid reason.

By making a payment for spiritual direction services through Spiritual.Chat, you acknowledge and agree to these Payment Terms and Conditions.

Release of Information Policy

This Confidentiality Policy outlines the confidentiality policies for spiritual direction services provided by Spiritual.Chat ("Company"). By using our services, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

1. Confidentiality

  • All information shared between you (the "Directee") and your spiritual director during spiritual direction sessions is considered private and confidential.
  • Your spiritual director will not disclose any information shared during these sessions to any third party, except in the following circumstances:
    • If the Directee gives written permission to release the information;
    • If the Directee is an imminent danger to themselves or others;
    • If the information is required by law.

2. Duty to Warn

  • If the Directee shares information during spiritual direction sessions that indicates that they are an imminent danger to themselves or others, the spiritual director is required by law to take appropriate action to ensure the safety of the Directee and others. This may include, but is not limited to, informing the appropriate authorities and/or hospitalizing the Directee.

3. Liability

  • The Company is not liable for any breach of confidentiality by the spiritual director, except in circumstances where the Company has taken reasonable steps to ensure the confidentiality of the information shared during spiritual direction sessions.

Service Level Agreement

This Service Level Agreement (SLA) outlines the terms and conditions for the delivery of Catholic Spiritual Direction services provided by Spiritual.Chat (“Company”).

1. Purpose

The purpose of this SLA is to define the services provided by the Company and to ensure that Directees receive high-quality spiritual direction services.

2. Services

The Company provides Catholic Spiritual Direction services, which typically include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Prayer and reflection;
  • Discernment and decision-making;
  • Understanding and application of Church teachings;
  • Personal growth and transformation;
  • Support in navigating spiritual difficulties.

3. Availability

The Company will make every effort to ensure that spiritual direction services are available to Directees as scheduled. However, in the event of unforeseen circumstances (e.g. illness or emergency), the Company reserves the right to reschedule sessions.

4. Response Time

The Company will respond to Directee inquiries and requests within 48 hours.

5. Quality

The Company is committed to providing high-quality spiritual direction services and will take appropriate steps to address any concerns raised by Directees.

6. Confidentiality

The Company will maintain the confidentiality of all information shared during spiritual direction sessions, in accordance with the Release of Information form signed by the Directee.

7. Liability

The Company is not liable for any negative consequences that may result from the spiritual direction services provided, except in circumstances where the Company has taken reasonable steps to ensure the quality of the services provided.

By using the services provided by Spiritual.Chat, Directees acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this Service Level Agreement.

Session Cancellation Policy

This policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancelling Catholic Spiritual Direction sessions provided by Spiritual.Chat (“Company”).

1. Cancellations by Spiritual Director:

If a Spiritual Director must cancel a scheduled session, the Directee will not be charged and the Company will make every effort to reschedule the session at a mutually convenient time.

2. Cancellations by Directee:

Directees are required to cancel a scheduled session at least 24 hours prior to the start time to avoid being charged. If a Directee does not cancel the session prior to the start time and they are not present, they will be charged for the session.

3. No-shows:

In the event that a Directee does not show up for a scheduled session, they will be charged for the session.

The Company reserves the right to modify this Session Cancellation Policy at any time. Directees will be notified of any changes to the policy.
